Thank for accessing the training page for the Telford & Wrekin SCB. We welcome applications from all statutory, private and voluntary sector organisations; some of our courses are free and some may carry a charge, please refer to each individual flyer for details as these will vary between agencies and courses. Please find the current flyers for inter-agency training provided by the SCB for those who are working with children and their families in the Telford & Wrekin area. This is inter-agency training and often places are limited. Should there be a demand for a particular course; places will be allocated to reflect a diversity of agency representation. If you wish to attend any of the below courses please open the link, save the flyer on your computer and send the completed application as directed. If you are allocated a place you will be forwarded confirmation along with joining instructions. If you do not receive this information it may be that you have not been allocated a place, in this instance please contact as directed on the booking instructions. Please be sure to comply with your own agencies training requirements, and complete the booking process as directed on the form. Single agency mandatory training ( the training which enables practitioners to access interagency training ) and the safeguarding training requirements for Groups 1 and 2 ( as identified in Working Together 2010 ) for those working in Statutory organisations, can be accessed by contacting the training department for your organisation. The Telford & Wrekin Safeguarding Children Board provides sessions which can be accessed by individuals from the voluntary and private sector, for groups of less that 20.
